MPavilion is Australia’s leading architectural design event. Every year, a new temporary pavilion designed by a leading international architect is erected in Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Gardens. Over summer, MPavilion becomes a design and cultural laboratory with talks, workshops, performances and installations. In 2020-21, MPavilion took residency at the architecturally significant Parkade Carpark designed by Melbourne architect Peter McIntyre AO at 34 Little Collins Street, Melbourne. As an extraordinary contribution to the City of Melbourne’s recovery strategy, MPavilion Parkade was a highly-accessible cultural destination, hosting events, workshops, and performances designed to stimulate, entertain and engage the public.
