As of 20 November, tickets for Australia’s original sell-out gin festival Juniperlooza will be on sale with two days to choose from including Saturday 15 or Sunday 16 of February at The Boatbuilders Yard and Polly Woodside.
Juniperlooza 2020 is set to be the biggest one yet with 23 boutique Australian and international gin producers serving up their own signature cocktails alongside both classic and twisted takes on the iconic G&T. To celebrate the good times soon to come, a few producers share their delicious recipes below.
Patient Wolf – Native & Native
20ml Patient Wolf Melbourne Dry gin
10ml Nigori sake
Top with ice and StrangeLove tonic
Garnish with a long shoot of pandan leaf and dried flowers
“Inspired by combining unique native ingredients from Australia, and slightly less native ingredients from Asia, this cocktail is brimming with unique textures and aromas”, says Brand Ambassador Blake Hall.
“Pandan leaf is an ingredient our team has worked with in the past. It has a Moorish, vanilla driven flavour and a nutty finish, which pairs perfectly with Tonka Bean, a key botanical in our gin. Balanced, light flavours in a cracking G&T. This will go off!”
Or for a fruity refreshing summer cocktail showcasing the unique rainforest native Davidson Plum in Brookie’s Byron Slow Gin, try your hands on the delectable punch below!
Brookie’s Gin – Slow Gin Punch
45ml Brookie’s Byron Slow Gin
45ml Fresh Watermelon Juice Topped with soda water
Build over ice and stir
Then garnish with a slice of lime and a sprig of mint
To get the party started, tickets include festival entry, a G&T token and reusable straw. Priced at $45 for Saturday and $40 for Sunday, it’s one gin celebration you don’t want to miss. Head to theboatbuildersyard.com.au/Juniperlooza to snap up tickets before they sell-out!
