This International Women’s Day, ST. ALi is embracing the message of #BalanceforBetter by putting the spotlight on the Marawaka Women’s Project in Papua New Guinea.
The Marawaka Women’s Project is a group of young entrepreneurial women from a remote and rugged region in the Eastern Highlands of Papua New Guinea who have succeeded in their first attempt to present the coffee they have grown to the world. Facing considerable restraints in market access, along with sub-optimal tools for processing coffee, they have banded together to present this phenomenal coffee which ST ALi is proud to share this International Women’s Day.
On Friday March 8th between 7-10am ST. ALi, in partnership with Skip, will be serving up Marawaka coffee at the Sensory Lab stores in Collins Street, Little Collins Street, and Bourke Street, and ST. ALi in South Melbourne.
Offering this coffee exclusively through Skip at $2 per cup, all proceeds along with in-store donations will go towards the development of the Marawaka Women’s Project, advised and supported by ECOM’s PNG Sustainable Management Services for coffee.
ST. ALi and Sensory Lab invites everyone to share this remarkable coffee and support the Marawaka Women’s Project.
