Burger lovers can try the smashing new Royal Stacks cheeseburger next week, which launches on International Burger Day on Tuesday 28 May.
The new cheeseburger is made using a ‘smash patty’ process where the beef is placed onto the grill and then smashed into a patty, so that the meat is cooked on a bigger surface area, achieving more caramelisation for extra flavour and a crunchy texture. The cheeseburger is topped off with onions, gherkins, tomato sauce and mustard.
The burger will be a permanent addition to the menu. However, on International Burger Day visitors can purchase a special ‘Kicks Pack’ which features two cheeseburgers, two regular fries and two regular drinks for $22, which is a $14 discount.
The Kicks Pack is served up in a limited-edition box designed by Melbourne artist Jasmine Mansbridge, who recently collaborated with the NGV to hand-paint ceramic vessels titled Cleopatra’s Tears, in celebration of Tiepolo’s painting at the NGV Banquet of Cleopatra.
Head to Royal Stacks Collins Street, Melbourne, Chadstone shopping centre or Sydney Road, Brunswick for the celebrations on Tuesday 28 May.
