Open 365 days a year 7am-6pm, St Ali never stops delivering. Christmas Day 2016 is no exception. Escape all the holiday stress with a much-needed coffee fix and some bubbles, and save the hassle of slaving away in the kitchen Christmas Day; relax and let St Ali do all the work.
On top of with the everyday menu, St Ali will also be plating up a three-course Christmas set menu ($65).
Sit back with a glass of bubbles and start off lunch with an entrée of citrus cured kingfish with compressed watermelon, green gaspacho and finger lime.
Move on to a traditional Christmas main of Ballotine turkey leg stuffed with fig and chestnut accompanied by fondant potatoes and braised red cabbage. Of course, it wouldn’t be Christmas Day without a decadent dessert of Pimm’s Eton mess with strawberries and Chantilly cream.
For those who still crave their usual breakfast, St Ali favourites will be available all day including the Buttermilk pancakes with applesauce and blueberries, North African Fry up with merguez spicy lamb sausage and St Ali’s hangover curing coffee.
Still prefer Christmas at home? St Ali has got the Christmas smallgoods organised, teaming up this year with Uncle’s Smallgoods with a locally sourced St Ali X Uncle’s Smallgoods smoked Christmas ham. Masterfully brined and smoked in native Australian hardwood timber, St Ali Christmas ham will be available for pickup in limited edition from 16 December.
